IBBI: Info Regarding Insolvency Professionals Facing Disciplinary Proceedings Exempt From RTI Act - 05.06.2019

Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) has observed that information about insolvency professionals facing disciplinary proceedings is exempt from disclosure under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (RTI Act). The IBBI sought exemption under Section 8(1)(h) of the RTI Act which exempts an information which would delay the process of investigation or apprehension or prosecution of offenders.
