Regional Centre for Biotechnology Bill, 2015

The Union Cabinet has approved introduction of a Bill proposing to set up a Biotechnology Centre at Faridabad. It will enable the Centre to function as an independent, autonomous body, and will assign it as an Institution of National Importance to impart training and research in biotechnology. The Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad at present is an inter-disciplinary institution offering ‘novel’ education and training.
