No proposal to discontinue the Digital Life Certificate for the Pensioners

Various State departments and the Ministry of Science and Technology have clarified that the practice of Digital Life Certificate for continuation of pensions will not be discontinued. The voluntary facility, introduced in November, 2014 has received over nine lakh digital life certificates so far.
