Madras HC Suggests Amending POCSO Act to Exclude Consensual Sex After Age of 16 - 29.04.2019

Madras High Court has suggested exclusion of consensual sex after 16 years of age from purview of POCSO Act and also observed that a relationship between a girl under 18 years of age and a teenage boy or little over the teenage years cannot be construed as “alien” or “unnatural”.
