Pre-Sentence Hearing on Separate Date Not Mandatory: SC - 17.04.2019

Supreme Court has observed that there is no bar on pre-sentencing hearing taking place on same day after passing judgment of conviction, if accused and prosecution are ready to submit their arguments.
