SC Orders Status Quo on SC/ST Reservation in Promotion for Govt Jobs - 16.04.2019

Supreme Court has stayed reservation in promotion for Scheduled Castes and Tribes (SC/STs) in government jobs after Centre and states failed to implement scheme for want of quantifiable data on the adequacy of their representation.
