ELECTION - Madras HC Dismisses Plea for ?1 Crore Compensation from ECI - 22.03.2019

Madras High Court has dismissed a writ petition filed by a member of Naam Tamilar Katchi seeking compensation of Rs. 1 crore from Election Commission of India for issuing notification on December 31 for conduct of byelection in Tiruvarur Assembly constituency and rescinding it on January 7.
