SC Imposes Rs 25k Fine on Centre for Not Responding on 'Devadasi' PIL - 30.11.2015

Supreme Court has imposed fine of Rs 25,000 on Centre for failing to file on time an affidavit on women being forced to become 'devadasis' and the possibility of abolition of the age-old tradition.
