RBI permits internet banking in regional rural banks

The Reserve Bank of India permitted Regional Rural Banks to provide internet banking facilities to their customers, provided they have implemented the Core Banking Solution and migrated to Internet Protocol Version 6. Guidelines on internet banking facility to customers of RRBs have also been issued.
