Relief for Aircel, Supreme Court Asks DoT to Pay Up - 29.11.2018

Supreme Court has granted relief to bankrupt telco Aircel by ordering the Department of Telecommunications to refund Rs 298 crore in cash to Aircel within eight weeks, an amount that was paid in connection with the telco’s Rs 3,500 crore sale of spectrum to Bharti Airtel in 2016.
