Supreme Court Gives Relief to Couple who Pleaded Guilty for Marrying off their Under-Aged Kids - 16.11.2018

Supreme Court has set aside a High Court order to conduct de novo trial under the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006 against a couple who pleaded guilty and were convicted by the trial court under the Child Marriage Restraint Act, 1929 for marrying off their under-aged son and daughter.
