Supreme Court Raps Manipur Government Over 'Fake' Encounter Killings - 11.08.2015

Supreme Court has said, fact that compensation has been paid to heirs of victims of security forces' encounter killings in Manipur "amply indicate" that such encounters were fake. Further it asked Manipur government to apprise the court of the steps taken after compensations were paid to kins.
