Greater vigilance for multiple directorships and common addresses of companies

The Special Investigation Team has sought permission from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to take action against violations of the Companies Act, 1956, particularly against persons holding Directorships in more than 20 companies. It also intends to bring into scrutiny addresses at which 20 or more companies have been shown to be operating from.
