NGT Directs UP Jal Nigam to Seal Hand Pumps Releasing Contaminated Water - 06.11.2015

National Green Tribunal (NGT) has ordered UP Jal Nigam to seal all hand pumps releasing contaminated groundwater in Ghaziabad and five other districts of western Uttar Pradesh, saying that its State Government's fundamental duty to look after the health of residents.
