No Interest Where No Liability Was Admitted Under UP Sales Tax Act: Allahabad High Court - 27.08.2018

Allahabad High Court has held that no interest can be levied under the U.P. Sales Tax Act where the assessee did not admit tax liability by paying the tax by way of ‘protest’.
