CIC Discarding Away RTI Applications Without Photo Identity Proof - 27.10.2015

Contrary to the RTI Act rules, the Central Information Commission (CIC) is asking applicants to furnish a copy of a photo identity card with applications, failing to which it is discarding applications away. There is no mention of any photo identity card in the rules.
