Health Ministry permits transfer of blood between Blood Banks

MANU/PIBU/1404/2015

To utilise its blood banks better and reduce scarcity, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has permitted transfer of blood from one bank to another. It has also fixed an exchange value for trade of blood plasma, a hitherto unregulated activity.
