Report on measures for improved monitoring of CSR released

Report of the High Level Committee

A High Level Panel constituted by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has released a report suggesting measures for monitoring the progress of implementation of corporate social responsibility policies. The Report seeks to address concerns regarding the level of compliance by companies with CSR provisions contained in Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 and the Companies (CSR Policy) Rules, 2014.
