High Court in the UK dismisses review to make Bridge a sport - 15.10.2015

A High Court in the United Kingdom dismissed a challenge against Sport England’s decision to not make ‘Bridge’ a sport. ‘Bridge’ a popular card game played between four players, was ruled to involve no physical activity, thus not warranting a sportier classification. The decision means the English Bridge Union will not be eligible to receive funds from the Lottery or the British government.
