Guidelines Governing Adoption of Children, 2015

The Ministry of Women and Child Development notified revised 'Guidelines Governing Adoption of Children 2015' which came into force on 1 August, 2015. The Guidelines are aimed at streamlining and speeding up the adoption process. The Ministry has also started country-wide workshops to allow child care institutions to understand the new guidelines and work under the new IT environment.
