Supreme Court: Never Directed Aadhaar-Mobile Number Linkage - 26.04.2018

Supreme Court has clarified that it had not ordered mandatory linkage of mobile phone numbers with Aadhaar, and said that the government misinterpreted its February 6, 2017, observation and insisted on doing it.
