NGT: Krishna River Banks Not to be Cleared Without Environmental Clearance - 15.10.2015

National Green Tribunal (NGT) has ordered Andhra Pradesh Government to not to carry out any operation of clearing of land near floodplains on banks of river Krishna for construction of a new state capital without obtaining environmental clearance.
