Exchange of information with Israel and Vietnam on tax matters approved

MANU/PIBU/1334/2015

The Cabinet has approved amendment to the Agreement between India and Vietnam for the avoidance of double taxation and for prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to income tax. Under the new Protocol, bank information and information received from the other contracting nation pertaining to a resident can be shared with law enforcement agencies.
