Productivity Linked Bonus for Railway Employees

The Cabinet approved Production Linked Bonus (PLB) for Railway Employees. As in previous years, 78 days’ wages will be paid considering the good finances of the railways, in hopes of motivating employees. Financial implication of the PLB is estimated to be Rs. 1030.02 crores; about 12.58 lakh non-gazetted railway employees are expected to benefit from the scheme.
