Cadre review and formation of the 'Indian Skill Development Service'

The Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Modi, approved the formation of a Group ‘A’ service of the technical cadre of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. Previously the Directorate General of Employment & Training, the new service will be called Indian Skill Development Service.
