Gujarat HC: Step-Parent Are Not Liable to Maintain Child - 12.10.2015

Gujarat High Court has ruled that a stepmother or stepfather is not liable to maintain a stepchild because provisions of Section 125 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 make it obligatory for parent to maintain only blood relations.
