SC: Lawyer’s Claim for Fee Based on Percentage of Decretal Amount is Misconduct - 06.12.2017

Supreme Court has held that a fee amount claim by a lawyer based on percentage of subject matter in litigation cannot be the basis of a complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
