Supreme Court: Panchayat Certificate No Proof of Citizenship - 06.12.2017

Supreme Court has held that a certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat secretary or the executive magistrate by itself was “no proof of citizenship” unless it established the legacy linkages with a person who was an Indian citizen.
