Kambala Ordinance: SC Issues Notice to Centre, Karnataka - 07.11.2017

Supreme Court while admitting the petition filed by PETA seeking direction from the court to strike down the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Karnataka Amendment) Ordinance, 2017 that allows kambala and other bull-cart races in the state, has issued a notice to the Centre and Karnataka Government.
