CIC to Forest Authorities: Whether Forest Clearance Granted to Polavaram Project - 01.10.2015

Central Information Commissioner (CIC) has ordered Union Ministry of Environment and Forests to inform whether forest rights of tribal people were recognized and written consent of gram sabhas were obtained for rehabilitation package under Polavaram Irrigation Project.
