Supreme Court: Acquisition Of Building Alone Permissible Under Land Acquisition Act - 19.09.2017

Supreme Court has held that State can proceed to acquire only the buildings existing on land under the Land Acquisition Act, without acquiring the underlying land, when the State otherwise has ownership rights over the land.
