National Green Tribunal Bans Use of Plastic Bags of Less Than 50 Microns Thickness in Delhi - 10.08.2017

NGT has banned the use of non-degradable plastic bags which are less than 50 microns in Delhi and directed that any person found in possession of such banned plastic would be liable to pay an environment compensation of Rs. 5,000.
